My name is Carolyn
I'm a wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. I love the power of words, am constantly seeking simplicity in my life and am so glad you're here.
After 10 years in the field, I realized I could foster my love for creative writing in a way that allowed me to champion fellow therapists - the rest is history.
My career has taken me to a variety of settings over the past decade. I’ve been in the non-profit sector supporting teen parents, worked in admissions at a residential treatment facility for women, been a marketing representative for a behavioral health hospital and my most recent role working as a perinatal therapist.
I have immense gratitude for the knowledge I’ve gained and for every client I’ve had the pleasure of knowing along the way.
Outside of my professional life, I'm a mom to two energetic boys and wife to my college sweetheart.
I’m a small-town gal at heart and spent much of my life on the farm that’s been in our family since 1872. I’m grateful for my ancestral roots and parents who both demonstrated and taught me the value of hard work and the importance of living with integrity and humility.
I’m an old soul at heart and when I’m not working you can usually find me outside, barefoot, wandering the aisles of a thrift store, or trying out a new line of natural skincare. I love gardening, whipping up old family recipes and perfecting my skills as an aspiring homesteader. My husband and I love watching Western docu-series and I truly believe that a McDonalds coke can solve just about anything. I believe in the healing power of music and love seeing live shows any chance I get. Bonus points if it’s Billy Strings.
